Events inHonkai Star Railare time-limited activities in which you can participate and receive valuable rewards. These rewards include ascension materials, Trace level-up materials, and most importantly Stellar Jades.
One such event that you can participate in was released in version 2.7 called Between the Frames. If you are looking to participate in the event and complete it quickly to collect the rewards, here’s a detailed guide that will lead you through the necessary steps.
How To Access Between The Frames Event
The Between the Frames eventruns fromDecember 25, 2024, and will end on July 11, 2025. You’ll have to beat least atTrailblaze Level 21if you want to participate in the event and claim all the rewards.
The game recommends completing theTrailblaze quests A Fugue from Beyond and BattlesandWithout Ninja and Humanitybefore participating in the event.
Additionally, it’s recommended that you complete theScorchsand Vacation Adventure Missionas well.
This is because the event takes you through certain locations that are unlocked after completing the aforementioned quests. However, you have the option to skip all of them and gain temporary access to the areas just for the sake of the event.
Between The Frames Event Guide
The Between the Frames event isdivided into seven days and a closing ceremonywhere you’ll have to click pictures. There isn’t a lot to do in this event, as it’s all aboutfollowing the Quest markers and completing the tasks.
The first step is to findMarch 7th who will be Penacony Paperfold University College. Once you talk to her, you’ll be directed to a quest marker to click a picture of March 7th.
Then you’llmeet Mr. Recawho will explain the event to you. The basic idea about the event is that you’ll have tofirst find an inspirationdepending on the pre-requisite for the day. Visit the inspiration and click the picture.
You don’t have to worry about locating the photo targets. Everything in the event ismarked by a Blue Quest Markersimilar to Adventure Missions. Justfollow the Quest Markers, and you will reach the targets.
Once the inspiration has been clicked,you’ll then have to click a picture pertaining to the theme of the day. You’ll have to visit the designated location and click the picture that matches the theme. Once both are done, you’ll receive the necessary rewards instantly.
You don’t have to worry about selecting the camera from the menu either, as once you reach the location, the camera will start glowing at the bottom of the screen. Simply press the button and click the picture marked by the Quest Marker.
As of writing this article, Days 5, 6, and 7 aren’t available yet and will be released on subsequent days.
Day 1
The first target is located atPaperfold University. Follow the quest marker, and you’ll reach aSoulglad Fountain. Click the picture to complete the first step. The game will then point you to the next part, where you’ll have to click aSlumbernana Monkey.
Travel toDewlight Pavilionin front of the massive table. Initially, the Monkey will reject you, so you’ll need totouch the teleporter. You’ll be teleported inside the map on the table, and a new Quest Marker will pop up. Follow it, and you’ll be able to click the picture of the Monkey to finish the quest.
Day 2
Travel toPenacony Golden Hourfor Day 2 of the quest. The first step is following the Quest Marker until you see abunch of Billboards. Click the pictures of the Billboards to finish the first step of the quest.
Follow the new Quest Marker, and you’ll reach aCar with three Trash Cans. Click the picture of the Car with the Trash Cans to complete the task.
Day 3
The first step for Day 3 is to visit theSoulglad Scorchsand Audition Venue. Follow the Quest Marker until you reach a Clockie Stand. Click the picture ofClockieto complete the first step of the quest.
Once you’re done, follow the new Quest Marker, and you’ll reach a stage withDreamjolt Hostelry. Click their picture, and that’ll complete the required tasks for Day 3.
Day 4
VisitPenacony Grand Theaterto progress the tasks for Day 4. First, follow the Quest Marker until you reach aStatue with an Origami Birdover it. Click their photo to complete the first step of the task for the day.
After that, you will visit Dr. Ratio in the same location, and he’ll bring a couple of plaster statues. Click the photo ofDr. Ratio along with the plaster statuesto complete the task for Day 4.
Between The Frames Event Rewards
