As you explore the procedurally generated map during each chapter inRavenswatch, there are plenty of things to choose between when it comes to what to spend your 18 minutes in each chapter doing. Do you want to increase your health, find Dream Shards, or fight mini-bosses for rewards?

Mini-bosses are some of the most challenging things you can take on, since they require you to fight powerful enemies earlier than you normally would. You usually have to defeat them in just a few minutes, but the rewards are worth it. You will get XP, as well as upgrades for your hero.

How To Find Mini-Bosses

Mini-bosses can be found in a few places in Ravenswatch. You’re looking for a few of the different icons on the mini-map.

First of all,you may find mini-bosses from Quests, which are indicated by an exclamation mark. Instead of heading out to find materials to help someone, you need to save an NPC from a boss. The mini-boss will be tough andyou need to beat it in three minutes for the rewards.

The other way to fight mini-bosses is tofind the skull and crossbones-looking icon on the map. To access it,you’ll need to find a keythat’ll be hidden somewhere around the map. Once you’ve unlocked it, you’ll have a few minutes to beat the boss.

Do so and you’ll get a Legendary or Cursed Magical Object, having to choose between three options. You get nothing at all if you don’t beat the boss in the time limit.

If you can’t find either of those icons on your mini-map at the start of a chapter, look for Raven Eyes to reveal more of the map. There will be one Quest and one mini-boss fight on the map somewhere; you just need to find them.

All Mini-Bosses

There are five mini-bossesyou can find in Ravenswatch, appearing in the two different events around the map in each chapter. Most of them are straightforward attack-wise and are just more powerful versions of standard enemies but with increased health.

Once you’ve defeated them, you’ll be granted lots of XP and a Magical Object to pick up from a chest. You may even get enough XP to claim a new Talent and level up.

There is also a trophy/achievement to unlock calledGiant Slayer, which requires you to defeat three optional mini-bosses in a single run. It’s a Bronze trophy on PlayStation.
