The end of the story inLego Horizon Adventuresis just the start of the challenge. Not only will there be lots of Gold Bricks to collect from Community Jobs, but there are also Red Bricks to collect by completing Apex Predator Hunts.
They see you head back to locations you’ve already been to during the course of the story, this time to take on a particularly menacing threat. They’re the biggest test of your skills in Lego Horizon Adventures.
You get a Red Brick for every Apex Predator Hunt you complete. They’re not used to unlock anything and there are 16 to get in total.
What Are Apex Predator Hunts?
If you’ve played the mainline Horizon games, you’ll know exactly what to expect from Apex Predator Hunts as they’re simplified versions in Adventures.
Following the completion of story missions,you jump into the hunts and are also immediately faced with a strong enemy. They’remore powerful than standard enemies, having a large health bar and doing more damage.
As a reward for completing each one,you’re rewarded with a Red Brick.
Cauldron based Apex Predator Hunts are longer than standard ones. They require you to get through the whole Cauldron fight before facing the Apex Predator.
Hunting Grounds
There arefour Apex Predator Hunts to complete in each location, with each location having a Cauldron to complete as part of those four.
You need tomake your way through the main story, and then the Apex Predator Hunts themselves to unlock them all. Each Hunt sees you face off against a different enemy. Those enemies are:

Finish the first Hunting Grounds Apex Predator Hunt
Apex Scrapper
Finish the Snowchant Mountains story missions and complete the previous Hunting Grounds Apex Predator Hunt
Apex Longleg
Finish the Snowchant Mountains story missions
Finish the first Snowchant Mountains Apex Predator Hunt
Apex Thunderjaw (Cauldron)
Finish the Jewel Rainforest story missions and complete the previous Apex Predator Hunt
Apex Shellwalker
Finish the Jewel Rainforest story missions
Apex Snapmaw
Finish all story missions and complete the previous Apex Predator Hunt
Apex Ultimate Corruptor
Finish the Sunfall Desert story missions
Apex Stalker
Apex Deathbringer (Cauldron)
Complete all of those Apex Predator Hunts andyou’ll have 16 Red Bricks to boast about. It’s just a shame they don’t unlock any kind of special reward.
