With so much to do after you’re shipwrecked on Ambrosia Island, it’s important to prioritize your relationships with the different islanders. Each one embodies an ancient Greek god, but they’ve lost their memories and their powers. It’s up to you to help them remember and reclaim their past identities.
In the process, you’ll meet headstrong characters like Ares who need more than a little push in the right direction. Will you be able to calm him down enough to accept your aid? We’ll show you how to befriend the god of war and save the sandy paradise inMythwrecked: Ambrosia Island!
How To Unlock Ares
To unlock Ares,head to the easternmost door in the temple, then use two seals to unlock it. By now, you should have theses two seals from the gods:
Use them to open the door to the orchard, thenspeak with Ares. If he’s inside his tent,use the nearby bench to waitfor him. He tends torise early and go to bed earlyas well.
Ares Friendship Level One
To begin helping Ares with his favor, you’ll need to chat with him a bit first toget to know him. Once you have, he’ll mention the different Amazon statues around the island. Hetook the gold weaponsfrom them for safekeeping, but now it’stime to return them.
That’s where you come in. While Ares cares for his orchard, you need toplace the weapons back with their rightful owners. Below are the weapons and the statues they belong to:
You’llfind the weapons around Ares' camp, nestled on the weapon racks.
Golden Axe
Beside Athena’s tower.
Once you’veplaced each of the weapons backin their proper places, it’s time toreturn to Ares. Your next task is to find his missing belongings scattered around the island.
Below areall three mementosyou need to collect and where to find them:

Hero Toy
Behind the yellow banner on the eastern half of the staircase leading to the Cloud Atrium.
Under the wagon in Aphrodite’s Garden.
Pegasus Toy
Found east of the temple entrance, buried in a dim brazier.
After you’ve uncovered everything, you’ll be able toreach friendship level onewith Ares. This means you can swap ambrosia fruit with him and visit him inside his tent at any time!
Ares Friendship Level Two
Immediately after you reach level one, Ares will ask you tograb the golden weapons from inside his tentand return them to their proper statues as well. Head inside and grab them–and don’t forget topick up the sealon the desk!

In the center of the Cloud Atrium, between the entrance and Zeus and Hera’s dining area.
Orithyia
Golden Sling
On the west end of Poseidon’s docks, up the stairs by the ladder.
Golden Shield
On the beach by the Underworld entrance.
After the weapons are in place, you’ll be on thesearch for mementos. This time, you’re looking fortrophies from Ares' battles. Below are the mementos and where to find them:
Golden Bull
In the Cloud Atrium, just past the portal. Head south towards the stream.
Sack of Jewels
To the left of the Underworld entrance, buried in the sand.
Marble Bust
Swap 50 ambrosia fruit with Poseidon.
Bring everything to Ares, which willincrease your friendship level to two. You’re one step closer to restoring Ares' memories!
Ares Friendship Level Three
To max out your relationship with Ares, you’ll have tocomplete one more taskand find the last of the God of War’s mementos. All you need to do is place an offering of ambrosia fruit at each of the statues.

20 Ambrosia Fruits
For a grandtotal of 120 ambrosia fruits, you may successfullymake an offering at all six statues. Then, start your search for the war god’s mementos. You’ll only need two of them:
Shattered War Axe
Just behind a wind turbine on a secluded island, buried in a dirt mound surrounded by rocks.
Harvest Sickle
In Athena’s tower, on a bookcase along the southwestern wall.
Bring the last of the mementos to Ares torestore his memoriesand secure your relationship with him. He’llreward you with his soulstoneas thanks!
What Can You Trade Ambrosia Fruit For With Ares?
you may swap ambrosia fruit with Ares as soon as youreach level one friendship, but he won’t offer you goods. Instead, you canpay for access to his orchard.
There are six plots you can purchase, and they’re as follows:
Orange Plot
100 Ambrosia Fruits
Once you’ve unlocked a plot,you can plant one ambrosia fruitin it. After a couple days pass, you canharvest 50 fruits from each plotyou planted.
This is thebest way to farm ambrosia fruits, as you’ll need plenty towards the end of the game.
